With a natural knack for all things hair Reese began to peak her styling interest as early as the age of 7. She began as a self taught braider and grew to become skilled natural hair artist.
Starting her own natural hair care journey back in 2011 she learned and mastered the art of protective styling. Many of the styles that have resurfaced today Reese had already worn or styled on her self personally. curls, twist, braids, locs, you name it, she has tried them all!
in 2017 she decided to create a natural hair care brand that represented the true essence and beauty of natural hair care and styling. With all the versatility and options concerning natural hair, she felt it was urgent to create a brand that stood for the art of natural hair and its full entirety, & Viola! The Curl Comfort Zone was born!. “The brand is more than about just styling hair” she says.. “Its a movement!” with natural hair becoming more of a popular choice its important that we have educational foundations to assist us with our hair journey.
In 2019 Reese Successfully opened her first hair salon, becoming a pillar in her community and providing premium services for woman and men of color. She continues to thrive in the beauty industry by leading with education and quality hair care.
